LABT Honors Mia Lehrer with Environmental Leadership Award

The Los Angeles Beautification Team honored Mia Lehrer with the Environmental Leadership Award alongside Mayor Eric Garcetti with the Lisa Frost Community Service Award at their 25th Anniversary Gala. The award speaks to the deep leadership Mia has given personally and through Studio-MLA in making Los Angeles a greener, healthier city. Studio-MLA has worked with the Los Angeles Beautification Team to design and implement green schoolyards and greener streets. Most recently, Studio-MLA designed the green schoolyard at Eagle Rock Elementary School, funded by a Prop 84 Stormwater Grant through the California State Natural Resources Agency.
