Ben Feldmann is a landscape architect and urban designer who integrates sustainable, contextually-sensitive systems-thinking into his work. As a principal at Studio-MLA, he spearheads public-realm oriented projects, constantly sensitive to ecological planning and aesthetic urban design. Striving for resilient communities and urban regeneration, he seeks solutions with environmental synergies between the built, social and natural spheres. Additionally, Ben provides oversight and leadership on design and planning in the studio. Ben currently leads the design team for First and Broadway Civic Center Park, LAFC Stadium and is known for his work on the LA River adjacent Piggyback Yard, Union Station Master Plan, and John Anson Ford Theatres. He is also civically engaged, involved with the City of LA Planning Department’s Open Space Working Group for LA 2040. Ben earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and his Master of Urban Design from UC Berkeley.
