Yong Kim was trained as an architect and urban designer at the Rhode Island School of Design and Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He brings extensive experience designing and managing complex and elegant landscapes and urban structures. His previous work includes the concept design for Gowanus Canal Sponge Park in Brooklyn and MoMA Rising Currents Exhibition, both with dlandstudio. Yong is particularly interested in work with high social impact and working with water systems for a resilient urban environment. His current efforts include the renovation of downtown Los Angeles’ California Plaza and the Ice House mixed use development with BIG.
