Landscape Architecture Foundation Convenes Summit to Address Global Concerns

On June 10-11, 2016, MLA joined over 700 landscape architects with a shared concern for the future for the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) Summit at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Held in honor of the 50th anniversary of LAF’s first Declaration of Concern, the summit convened papers and conversations contributing themes to include in a new Landscape Declaration to address today’s environmental, social, and economic landscape issues. Mia Lehrer led a dialogue between public practitioners breaking the boundaries of traditional practice.
