Studio-MLA is pleased to announce that our founder and president Mia Lehrer has been honored by the Los Angeles Times in the new ‘L.A. Influential’ series, which highlights key people shaping the future of the city. This recognition in ‘The Civic Center’ category celebrates Mia’s contributions to landscape architecture and her impact on Los Angeles’ cultural, social, and environmental fabric.
The ‘L.A. Influential’ series celebrates individuals driving positive change across Los Angeles. Mia’s creativity and energy inspires our robust and talented 45-person team at Studio-MLA to advance resilient, inclusive, and community-driven design across California and beyond. This acknowledgment by the Los Angeles Times is a testament to Mia’s 30-year commitment to transforming the city’s renowned places and waterways and advocating for underrepresented communities to experience the recreational and health benefits of access to nature.
We celebrate this honor with excitement and regard it as a reminder to continue building on Mia and our studio’s lifelong vision to improve quality of life through landscape architecture.
