Consulting Director of Design & Construction Integration

Chris S. Sherwin, RLA, is a Director of Design & Contruction Integration at Studio-MLA, working on quality assurance and control, and helping to ensure excellence in documentation and construction across the firm’s built work. Chris brings over 20 years of project leadership, blending critical thinking with problem-solving in a collaborative approach to design development and delivery. He is conducting research into the utilization and realization of UAV 3D photogrammetry applications for project delivery methods within CAD, BIM, and 3D printing environments. His project experience varies in scale, complexity, and budget—including urban parks and gardens, corporate campuses, and urban infill redevelopments. Chris holds a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. Chris is based in our San Francisco studio.
