Operations Manager

Maria Gonzalez has been working with Studio-MLA for eight years. She first became involved with public green spaces while working for the City of LA’s Community Redevelopment Agency where she fell in love with the community-led design process. Studio-MLA work focuses on her two biggest passions: community and environment. Working primarily with Mia, Maria provides administrative support and participates in community charrettes as a Spanish language interpreter. She loves our work making school gardens, creating parks in areas lacking green space, and our involvement with the river and water-related issues, allowing her to contribute to making our communities a better place for future generations. Maria is based in our Los Angeles studio.
