Anton Smith ASLA

Associate Principal

Anton Smith has acquired a particular attention to detail, materiality and constructability in his over 15 years of hands-on experience in landscape architecture, construction and construction documentation. His high level of technical expertise for at-grade and on-structure landscape systems is articulated through the various stages of design to final execution. Anton thrives on the collaborative and playful process of design refinement, where new ideas and materials are frequently explored. Anton is driven by the desire to be of public service to all Angelenos, but in particular to the underserved communities of Greater Los Angeles. His recent focus on transit-oriented development and infrastructure, educational landscapes for higher education campuses and K-12 schools, affordable family housing, and sport parks are all integral building blocks towards social justice and a better future. Anton earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto. He is based in our Los Angeles studio.
