Kush Parekh is a landscape architect with over fifteen years of experience in design, strategic planning and project management. From a family of architects, he was drawn to landscape architecture by his passion for cities and the challenging relationships between urban ecological systems and socio-cultural factors that exist within them. With a holistic understanding of the built environment, Kush strives to apply the highest level of design and sustainable principles while exploring creative use of materials and building techniques. Kush is currently leading the new Los Angeles NFL Stadium and Entertainment District, a 298-acre, multi-phased project to reimagine, design and build a stadium complex, performance venue, retail district, parks, and streetscapes on the site of the old Hollywood Park race track. He has devoted nearly a decade to this high-profile urban infill project, an endeavor of immense scale and complexity that is rare in a large metropolitan city such as Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with a minor in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University. Kush operates out of both our Los Angeles and San Francisco studios.
